Coir Yarn

Origin: Coir yarn is spun from the fibre extracted from the outside husk of the coconut and its uses include the manufacture of mats and matting, rope, geo-textiles and olive oil filters. All our supplies come exclusively from our sister company Palm Fibre in Kerala, India.
Description: Our yarn is available either in spools of 3kg to 15kg or in bales of 150kg and can be shipped in 20 foot or 40 foot containers. Yarn can be supplied in three grades:
  • Fine weaving Vycome coir yarn
  • Anjengo coir yarn
  • Beypore coir yarn
All grades are available in hard, regular and loose twist and in various runnages.
